Happy textiles

The theme of my project is making people happy with my printed textiles.

I believe textile design is strongly related to our emotion. Because when I am depressed, colourful textiles make my feeling better. So I suggest examples of interior and exterior textile which are closest part of our lives.

Also, I am deeply inspired by some painters in the 20th century in terms of use of colour and texture. Basically, my design inspiration comes from something I found in my daily life. It is nothing special but we can make it special from creative point of view. I walked around London and sketched nature motifs which impressed me. My collections are based on pieces of such my life with artist designed drawing style. Through my textile work I aimed to make link between fine art and productive design, which means textile design should be watchable and at the same time, practical.
