During my time in Chelsea, I studied a lot of textile knowledge.

For this final work, I used screen printing to print on the wood. This work would be a series of interior decoration or art works.

The special point of this work is the pattern on the wood. I got the inspiration from English tile. English tile is an important symbol of the traditional interior decoration in England. I used it to be the inspiration of my work’s pattern design, then screen printed them on the wood.

The shape of wood are traditional Chinese clothes. These clothes are from three different dynasties, they are Tang dynasty, Yuan dynasty and Ming dynasty. It is an art work about east culture meets west culture.
