I completed my undergraduate studies in architecture at Cairo University June 2006. Practiced for two years in interior design and architectural design offices in Egypt.
My interest in printed textile grew out of my desire to reconnect the design act with the production work.

Motifs and Community

My work in printed textiles concentrates on the generation of Motifs that symbolize our lives. The Motif can tell a story. I write folk stories about our lives, where the motif acts as a character that performs the story.
