My practice implements user-focused fashion design order to promote a less throwaway attitude to fashion. I create luxurious and keepsake clothing with a twist, but that remains at an accessible and wearable level.

Embarking on the course as a knitter, I have surprised myself by using very little knit in my final collection. A collaboration of other techniques has carried the design process to an unexpected but well realised conclusion.

I have developed a collection with an intention to inspire a more genuine relationship with the wearer. Victoriana inspirations led to handcrafting accessories and attachments for the garments. The prints used bestow a concealed significance. The dresses I created can pull apart and piece together and attachments encourage the wearer to build up layers and shed them alike.

I aspire to establish my own fashion label that will continue to succeed this purpose.
