My aim is to create products that encourage longstanding user relationships and strengthen user ritual. My prints have a vintage feel, employing hand-drawn motifs depicting artifacts associated with the consumption of food. These are inspired by Scandinavian design such as Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn, as well as contemporary labels such as Akira Minagawa for Minä Perhonen.
One of my objectives is to reduce the waste associated with short-lived disposable items. Therefore, I have begun to search for improved solutions for things such as plastic bags and plastic cutlery. These solutions utilise sustainable materials and processes including recycled polyester and digital sublimation printing.
