The course encourages students to address issues of “where we live and what we do” through innovation and invention. It is a practice based course, taught by designers in the active professional area and textile research.
The course encourages applications from students with established textile skills in all areas of textile design who have a fascination with their subject and a desire to meet new challenges.
Through the integrated theory lectures concerning aspects of eco design and contemporary practice, students are able to broaden their experience and understanding of career opportunities within textiles and to establish their own position within the industry.
